Dr. Armstrong has a passion for healthcare and is committed to providing you with the best treatment possible and a positive experience. Dr. Armstrong prides himself on giving painless injections to minimize patient discomfort. In addition to a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, he also holds Masters in Biomedical Engineering and Physiology and he has particular interests in Biological and Implant Dentistry. Since his residency at Kings County Hospital, he has continued to take advanced training in leading technologies such as Laser Dentistry, Computer Assisted Implant placement, and Clear Aligner Orthodontics. Dr. Armstrong is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Outside of Dentistry, family time is a priority. He also enjoys jogging, bike riding, and basketball.
Jill has obtained a Degree in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology and has over 10 years of retail management experience in Manhattan. Jill's experience in retail management and human resources is a real benefit to our patients. Jill is the liaison between your insurance provider and the Dentist, working on your behalf to achieve optimal oral health. Outside the office Jill enjoys activities with her children, going to the gym, participating in themed 5K races and photography.
Tia, a Native New Yorker, is our resident Dental Hygienist. Tia holds a Bachelors Degree from Pace University, where she studied Biology and Marketing. Afterwards, she embarked on the journey towards becoming a Dental professional by obtaining her Dental Assisting Certification from Mandl College of Allied Health where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and later served on the school's Dental Program Advisory Board. Tia continued her Dental pursuits by attending the New York City College of Technology's Dental Hygiene Program, where she treated patients of all ages. Through the program she was afforded the opportunity to volunteer with school aged children, teaching them the importance of good oral hygiene. She also had the opportunity to be a part of a ground breaking research with highly esteemed Dental professionals in an IRB certified patient study focusing on Feasibility of Administering an Oral HIV Test in University-Based Dental Clinics. Tia was awarded the Colgate STAR award for showing excellence and commitment to the Dental Hygiene profession. Outside of the office, Tia enjoys TV, movies, music, and dancing, being w/ family and friends, volunteering in the community, and traveling.
Taylor is a graduate of Amarillo College Dental Hygiene School in Amarillo, Texas where she earned an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Prior to attending Dental Hygiene School, Taylor was a Dental Assistant at a general dentistry practice for 5 ears. She believes in providing long term education regarding oral health for patients by focusing on prevention, disease, and health management. Taylor is a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association and is always striving to provide the highest level of patient care. Taylor enjoys spending time with family and friends in her spare time. She loves to go on walks on the pier, play tennis, travel, and read mystery novels. Taylor is a new resident of New York City and is looking forward to exploring all of the varieties of cuisine the city has to offer.
Omar has had a long history in dentistry, Omar started his career first in retail. This is has been instrumental when it comes to the patient experience. Omar will be the person that will organize your treatment plan and maximize your insurance coverage. He will be the first person and last person you will see before you leave the office. In his free time Omar enjoys cooking for his family and spending time with close friends.
